Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Native English Speaker to join our Science Department as a Physics Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based Physics instruction, inspire students' curiosity about the natural world, and support their preparation for international assessments (e.g., AP Physics, IGCSE, A-Level, or IB Physics).

Key Responsibilities

* Teach High School Physics courses in English, covering topics such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, and modern physics.

* Design and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that promote scientific thinking and laboratory skills.

* Prepare students for international standardized exams (AP/IGCSE/A-Level/IB) as applicable.

* Supervise laboratory sessions, ensuring safety protocols and fostering experimental competence.

* Assess student progress through assignments, labs, exams, and constructive feedback.

* Participate in departmental meetings, STEM-related events, and professional development workshops.

* Mentor students in science fairs, physics competitions, or research projects (if applicable).

* Collaborate with Chinese colleagues to support students' holistic academic growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Nationality: All (Required for Work Visa).

* Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Science Education, or a closely related field.

* Master's degree or PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Physics/Science is highly preferred and will be considered for the upper end of the salary scale.

* Certification: Valid teaching license from home country (e.g., QTS, State License) or a recognized TEFL/TESOL certificate (120+ hours) with science teaching experience.

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in High School Physics. Experience with international curricula (AP/IB/A-Level/IGCSE) is a strong advantage.

* Skills:

* Strong knowledge of Physics content and pedagogical best practices.

* Proficiency in laboratory instruction and safety management.

* Excellent classroom management and cross-cultural communication skills.

* Comfortable using educational technology and digital tools for science instruction.

* Background: Clean criminal record check and good health.

Compensation & Benefits

* Salary:** 22,000 – 27,000 RMB per month (Pre-tax), negotiable based on qualifications (Master's/PGCE holders and experienced AP/IB teachers preferred for higher bracket).
