Biology / Chemistry Teacher - Beijing

About the Position

Our school nurtures students of diverse talents and backgrounds, fostering both intellectual growth and character development. We are seeking a Biology or Chemistry Teacher for the Science Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach up to 70% of a full timetable (currently 24 periods) and support advisory duties.
• Design and deliver engaging curriculum, fostering student confidence and a love for learning.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inquiry-based classroom environment.
• Support students' holistic development through well-planned activities.
• Guide students in critical and creative thinking through observation, experimentation, and project-based learning.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress; maintain effective communication with parents.
• Serve as an Advisor to a small group of students, supporting their pastoral and academic well-being.
• Engage in professional development, collaborative meetings, and school-wide events.
