Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Native English Speaker to teach AP English Literature and Composition (and/or AP English Language). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the AP program, a deep passion for literature, and the ability to engage high school students in critical thinking and analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons for AP English Literature/Language courses.

* Prepare students for the AP examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.

* Grade assignments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress.

* Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.

* Support students with university applications and personal statements (if applicable).

* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

### Qualifications & Requirements

* Nationality: Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.

* Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.

* Certification: Valid teaching license/certificate from the home country (e.g., PGCE, State License) or a recognized TEFL/TESOL certificate (120+ hours).

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a high school setting. Prior experience teaching AP English curriculum is required.

* Skills: Excellent classroom management skills and strong cross-cultural communication abilities.

* Background: Clean criminal background check and good health.

* Salary: 26,000 – 32,000 RMB per month (Pre-tax), negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
